Misenscene for thriller- Limited amount of make-up in order to make the characters on screen more relatable for the audience. Low level lighting creates shadows in order to create fear and tension within a viewing audience.  editing for thriller-  All thriller films use fast and slow paced editing in their films Common editing for thriller- A screaming sound is conventional to a thriller film because the character on screen has been frightened by something which has a profound effect on the audience. I started working on the music video. This part of the process I started my recording process. I went to the beach with my friends. We started recoding us in the water. Then we started recoding us running around on the beach. We recorded us messing around together. Then we recorded us lip-syncing to the song. We recoded the lip syncing about 5 times. We did this so I would have options on what I wanted to use in the video. After that we went walking around the beach. We documented that as well. We went to a restaurant on the beach which we documented. After that we all left. When I got home, I reviewed all the footage from the day. I edited clips to be shorter. After I did that, I looked at what I did like and did not like in the videos. I cut them out. I reviewed what I did like in the videos. Then I deleted what I didn't like. And that was it.

It doesn't either use nor challenges conventions. The video itself is just a beach day with friends. It represents having fun within a social group, but not a social group itself. Part 1: Look at your research blog. After looking at the conventions - did you do what is in your genre or did you do something else? Why or why not? I went along with my research blog. Part 2: Social groups - what or who, if any, does your video represent. Think of the representation groups from the extract and then expend from there.
