 1. 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?

It doesn't either use nor challenges conventions. The video itself is just a beach day with friends. It represents having fun within a social group, but not a social group itself.

Part 1: Look at your research blog. After looking at the conventions - did you do what is in your genre or did you do something else? Why or why not?

I went along with my research blog.

Part 2: Social groups - what or who, if any, does your video represent. Think of the representation groups from the extract and then expend from there. Does your video deal with any social issues or groups or is it just a fun-loving song.

My video is just a fun-loving song. It is supposed to represent letting loose and having fun with friends.

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?

My video engages with audiences by being relatable. I think everyone just wants to take a break and have fun and that's what the video shows.

Part 1: What makes your video special and fun and would want to male people watch it over other videos.

This video is just showing being around friends and having a good time. It's letting loose with friends and simply letting go, having fun, and enjoying life. I think that alone would attract people to it.

Part 2: If this was a professional video - where would you release it - MTV, TikTok, YouTube... You decide.

I would release it on TikTok or YouTube. I would do so because it has a large audience and would have the potential of going viral on those apps.

3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

What did you learn about the process of coming up with the idea through posting the video - the whole process, what did you learn. Do NOT just list the steps you took, talk about the steps in depth.

I learned the importance of time management with this project, and to open my mind to creative ideas. I didn't originally know what I wanted to do with this video, but I knew the song, basing off the beat and lyrics to the song, I decided to create a montage of a beach day with friends because that's what the song reminded me of.

4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

What did you use to film, edit and blog. my phone and blogger are not the correct answers. You have to expand on this one. WHY your phone over a camera, WHY blogger, WHY Capcut or I-Movie.

I used my phone to film because it was easily accessible, and I was familiar with the software of an iPhone than a camera. I used VideoStar to edit because like before, I was more familiar with the editing of VideoStar than any other app.
